OpenVGal: a first proof of concept
OpenVGal
For the last year approximately I have been working on a personal software project called OpenVGal. The goal was to create 3D web galleries that can be visualized with just a browser and you have full control on the contents.
The project can now show a first proof of concept. Find at the bottom the github repository.
👉 It is advised to use a computer (desktop or laptop). It is not adapted yet for mobile devices.
Instructions
1. Open a gallery
The aquarelle gallery this post originally linked to lived on the watercolour subdomain, which has been retired; the galleries are now here on this site, and OpenVGal itself has its own home at openvgal.com.
2. Click anywhere inside the screen
Once in the gallery, click once to activate the controls.
3. Navigate the 3D space using the arrow keys and dragging the mouse
4. Go to other subgalleries by clicking on the doors
